Allen Arms Level II Defensive Shooting
- Purpose of Course- This is the advanced training everyone has been wanting, taking you beyond the basic marksmanship training in prior courses to prepare the shooter to use proven techniques for close, quick shooting in life-or-death situations. These are not bullseye, paper punching techniques, as important as they are. Instead, it involves learning to respond to a danger by deploying and using a handgun from short to contact distance, including using weapons presentation, movement, reloading, and retention shooting. Analysis and reaction to threat will be covered as well as shooting technique. These techniques are also very helpful for those desiring to begin any of the action shooting sports such as IDPA, but the goal is to instill self defense skills.
